Shoreline Bike Tour, Mackinaw City- Jeanie, Kathy and I did the Spring Bike Tour again this year. Kathy decided to do 50 miles while Jeanie and I opted for 25. |

Jeanie and I stopped for a few
minutes at the 8 mile mark...
...where we ran into these folks
from Saginaw and Lapeer
The first official rest stop is about
half way (on the 25 mile route)
I stopped often to take photos of
the wild flowers
Kathy celebrated her time on the
50 mile route - just over 3.5 hours
We could see the Mackinaw
Bridge from the campground where
we stayed
And to the east of the bridge
is Mackinac Island
The Grand Hotel is one of the
key features of the island. That's
the hotel near the center of the
previous picture
There weren't any campers near
our two sites. Either the cooler
weather or the higher gas prices
kept folks out of the area
Our last evening was spent taking
pictures of the sunset, and the bridge
(and each other)
