"Big Mac" Spring Shoreline Bike Tour - June 11, 1999

For the fifth year, I took part in the annual Spring bike tour in Mackinaw City, as did several friends. If you and I are acquaintances from the neighborhood or from church, you'll recognize almost everyone; if we worked at EDS together, you'll recognize a few of the folks; if you are family, you'll find some scenery that you might enjoy...as well as a couple of pictures of me (that you'd BETTER say you enjoyed seeing).

We set up the camper in the Mill Creek camp- ground. Jeanie & I worked to- gether at EDS. This was her 4th Big Mac tour.
Liz is a member of the adult choir at church. It was her 1st tour. This gull had a ball at the neighboring site.
We started and ended at the High School pavilion. Jeanie & Liz get their bikes ready for the ride.
There were several rest stops along the way for food & drink. They insisted that I have my picture taken.

We ran into Sue at the last rest stop. We also saw Judy and Chris there.

Mike looked a little worn out back at the pavilion. But Jason looked like he was just getting started.

On Sunday, we went to Mackinac Island...in the rain. The Big Mac bridge was being enveloped in fog.
You can't go to the Island without a photo of Fort Mackinac. The shoreline looks like a New England town.
