We set up camp on Lake Huron.
Along the way, we ran into Kelly, Joey and Julie, friends from Oxford and Lake Orion.
The rest stop at mile 11 was a welcomed site.
The tour started at the local high school.
Part of the tour follows the Lake Michigan shoreline.

was held this weekend
in Mackinaw City.
Jeanie, Liz and Judy made final equipment checks.
Judy, a high school friend and tour "newbie," took over here to set the pace for the rest of us.
