August 6-8, 2011: Jeanie, Kathy and I decided to revisit Harrison Lake State Park in Ohio. It rained when we were there in 2008. This time, despite the threat of rain, it was sunny and beautiful every day.

We had sites very close to those in 2008

Kathy brought her new yellow tent, Jeanie brought
her screen house and I had my popup camper

We took a walk through the campground to check
things out

This is one of the more unusual tents we saw...

... and this is one of the multi-room variety

There was a Civil War Encampment near the lake

They shot off a cannon several times on Saturday

Dave, our neighbor and new acquaintance from
Adrian, was allowed to fire it this time

Kathy's tent was easy to spot at night when
her reading lamp was on

I walked around the lake (4.27 mi) on Sunday
morning and I spotted this heron on the bridge

The next two shots are of our campground, taken
from the opposite side of the lake

My walk took me past the boat launching
and docking area
