20,000 multi-colored lights are distributed
on the grounds. They are charged by the sun
during the day and glow in the evening.

Day 3 found us at the St. Bernard Abbey in Cullman,
Alabama. On the grounds is the Ave Maria Grotto, a
landscaped hillside of 125 small stone and cement
structures created by Brother Joseph Zoetl, O.S.B.
between 1912 and 1958.



Structures include ceramic tiles, buttons,
shells, jars, pieces of glass, etc.
