Aunt Ann hosted the reunion at her house (east and north
side views).
The "sleeping porch" above the sun porch came
in handy (east side view).
August, 2000 -
Family Reunion - Our family reunion was
held on August 26th in southern Iowa. I arrived a few
days early and stayed for a few days after everyone else
left.
The extra lot is ready for the "reunion tent"
(west side view).
The former carriage house is now a garage.
Aunt Ann's flowers were in bloom for the occasion.
Distant relatives from Seattle, Matt, Arlene and Karen
(kneeling), paid a surprise visit to Aunt Ann. They just
happened to be in town and had to leave before anyone
else arrived.
I set up my camper in a state park near Lake Rathbun.
Cousin Mary (center), daughter Janelle and husband Jim
came from Texas.
Cousin Annie and Uncle Fred from Port Angeles, WA were
next to arrive. Since I had plenty of room, Annie decided
to join me at the camp site.
Cousin Amy with husband Joe and daughter Katey came from
Denver.
Cousin Dick and daughter Tyler (from the Florida Keys)
check out the tropical fish at the local florist.
Dick's son John and Dick's wife Susan.
A cherry coke, made with real syrup at the local
soda fountain is a must.
The tent is up and folks start to catch up on the latest
family news.
