August, 2000 - Family Reunion - Our family reunion was held on August 26th in southern Iowa. I arrived a few days early and stayed for a few days after everyone else left.

Second cousins, John and John, get acquainted.


A group of us walked two blocks to the town square to check out the Restoration Days1 activities.


Art exhibits are set up on the lawn around the courthouse.

The high school band members were comfortable in the 90+ heat, wearing cutoffs instead of their heavy uniforms...

There were classic and not-so-classic cars, trucks and tractors.


The Shriners were on hand with motor cycles, mechanical horses and a fleet of red Isettas.
