Katey and Amy with cousin Suzi (from Encino, California).	Fr. Bill begins with a reading.	August, 2000 - Family Reunion - Our family reunion was held on August 26th in southern Iowa. I arrived a few days early and stayed for a few days after everyone else left.
John Robert is baptized.	A white garment has been placed on him. His cousin Marcus holds the book for Fr. Bill.	John is anointed with holy oil.
Godmother, Aunt Ann, and godfather, cousin Jim, hold a lighted candle.	A final blessing is bestowed.	John was as good as gold. Not a single tear was shed.

Meanwhile, Joe retrieves Katey who was playing Hide and Seek under the altar.	A good baptism calls for a good meal...	...and a chance to relax out of the hot sun.
